Ramersdorf is a mixed industrial and residential area that grew around an old village. There's an estate built in the early 1900s around the old village centre. The housing throughout the district varies greatly in architectural style.
There are some shops and wholesale markets here, plus some restaurant, cafs, bars, and a theatre. In the east is a park. There is also an outdoor swimming pool. Parking is not difficult, and public transport is fairly good, serviced by a good number of bus and metro connections.
Constructed in the 1960s and 1980s, the housing areas here have long been affected by social problems, but have lately improved a great deal. There are many retail establishments in this area, including a shopping mall. It also has a theatre, a sports ground, and a park. Public transport here is good and parking spaces are plentiful.
