Not to be confused with the St Petersburg district of the same name, the Krasnoselsky district in Moscow is one of the small districts of the Central Administrative Okrug radiating from the city centre. It is dominated by railroads, rail yards, and rail terminals. Some office buildings were also built here in the 1980s. The district’s centre, Komsomolskaya Square, is also called Three Station Square because it has three railway stations, whose construction in close proximity to each other created the square.
