District 4 is the smallest urban district in Ho Chi Minh City where Saigon Port is located. The 130-year-old port serves the transportation needs of the mining, seafood processing, construction, tourism and agriculture industries. The port accounts for a fifth of the country’s GDP and a third of the nation’s industrial production. This international port has five main terminals, extensive open yards and warehouse that all cover 570,000 square meters of land.
