Crowded and busy, District 10 has a big development in the works: the construction of the US$930-million international financial centre project over eight hectares.

It also has Giam Lam Pagoda, the oldest temple and pagoda in the city. The layout, structure and embellishment of the 18th century pagoda have not changed much with time. Ten monks currently live in the Buddhist pagoda, combining Confucianism and Taoism practices.
