Maria de Guzman is an economist and the author of many of the long-form country economic reports which are the Global Property Guide's flagship editorial product.  Ms. De Guzman joined the Global Property Guide's economics team in July 2010.  She is particularly interested in microeconomics and macroeconomics

Education:  Completing a Master of Arts in Economics - University of the Philippines – Diliman (UP-Diliman), the Philippines' top-ranked university.  BA in Economics -  University of Santo Tomas

The Global Property Guide's economics team was formed by our former chief economist Prince Cruz, now a staffer with the Manila-based Asian Development Bank (ADB) and author of ADB working papers.  Prince Cruz created the Global Property Guide Training Module.  Maria reports to Lalaine Delmendo, the head of the team.
