$63 billion construction spend to boost Kuwait residential market by 2014Kuwait's construction industry will spend more than US$63.5 billion over the next three years, boosting the state's residential housing market but with an emphasis on commercial buildings and developing educational facilities as well.

Research conducted by Ventures Middle East for the international building and construction show The Big 5, to be held in November in Dubai, shows that construction for commercial and educational developments will take place in 2012 and 2013, with residential sector investment spiking in 2014. From an average of $600 million, construction costs for housing will leap to $5.4 billion in that year.
