House prices in Denmark. We use data from StatBank Denmark, which publishes a price index for sales of one-family houses stretching back to Q1 1992. The Association of Danish Mortgage Banks also publishes average square metre prices for free market trades for single-family houses, condominiums and holiday homes. It extends back to 1992.

Adjusting house price rises (or declines) for inflation produces a more accurate picture of the change in value of housing than the usual nominal figures cited in the newspapers.
